Yes same at LHR. Only citizens of certain countries like USA, AUS,NZ, Singapore and Canada can use it. DXB has retina scans also but sometimes they will randomly send you to a customs agent.

E-Gates at YYZ finally. I have used these at DXB and LHR. You can get through custom within a few mins. https://www.cp24.com/news/this-is-what-travellers-need-to-know-about-new-electronic-gates-at-toronto-pearson-1.5958728

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I travelled internationally earlier in Jan/Feb, My family flew to western Canada couple of times since March. We didn't experience the chaos that has been projected in the media. There was a delay of 1 hour max. I was selected for random covid test on my return. I experienced worse delays at...

Waterways (Conservatory Group) - Real Estate -

This could be the reason they are charging $1300. One of my friends is a realtor and he told me the uptown condo market is also hot. It's just the downtown core where the market is down, at least for now.

Waterways (Conservatory Group) - Real Estate -

Last spring a 507sqft condo was selling for a cool 556k..so it looks like someone made close to a 100k if they are charging $1300 sqft now. The question is will the value hold? There is a mass exodus from the downtown core due to Covid. This area may survive the meltdown.

Roads: Highway 401 Widening - Highway 8 to Highway 410 (MTO, U/C, Planned)

I drove on the eastbound 401 from EMP to YYZ. Looks like the job is not complete yet. only two express lanes are open. The carpool lane is not open. Some work still pending. There is a lane that is still not open and I am suspecting that will allow merging into collector in order to access Mavis.

    Toronto Water's Edge at the Cove | 182.26m | 56s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

Because lots of people are defaulting on the downpayment. Plus they increased the price in march so buyers will end up paying more. I was in the area a few days ago and looks like the construction has restarted.

    Toronto Water's Edge at the Cove | 182.26m | 56s | Conservatory Group | Richmond Architects

The closing has been delayed until Oct. 2022. I have heard some buyers have defaulted on deposits due to the current economic crisis. Not sure if this project is still on or getting cancelled.

I agree. The 401 east credit river extension has been going on forever. The pace of the 401 west extension is a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting it. I hope the CR extension is completed this year.

    Toronto King Blue by Greenland | 155.75m | 48s | Greenland | Arcadis

I took this pic today. The lights are a nice addition. The PDI has started. I spoke to a foreman and he told me that the towers are complete and initial occupancy will take place in mid Jan.
