Hi Hibbing,
According to a April 24, 2008 Toronto Star online article : http://www.thestar.com/article/417236
The smallest unit, at 540 sq ft, was being sold for $169,900. This was very likely for a 1-bedroom unit.

Hey Tim,
We closed last week - the final closing cost was right about where I had expected it to be. It will really depend on several things, including if you're a first-time buyer (in which case you'll get a partial refund / rebate on the land transfer taxes), and whether your lawyer managed...
Hey OEW,
No, I went with Rogers for the first year on a contract, but I'm strongly considering switching to Bell Fibe next year, as Bell is offering decent deals when you bundle with internet & phone. Are you on regular Bell satellite?
This is interesting ... you all have a different filter size - I need to use 14 x 25 x 1, which are usually in stock.
On a similar note, I had to reset our Heat / AC unit yesterday, as it was pumping out cool air instead of warm. After following the instructions about this, the heating system...
Hey Bruizeman & Koff -
Nice to hear from you again!
I agree with the comment above about the insulation. My mom, who lives in our unit, has never complained about the temperature, so if she hasn't complained (yet), then this passes her litmus test.
I haven't received anything from...
I agree - a major "hook" in their marketing was the deceptively low maintenance fee. I thought to myself, hmm, it'll likely go up 50% within a couple of years of ownership, which still would make the fees quite reasonable in comparison with other projects, therefore I had already built-in the...
Hey Scarborough,
What I meant by my comment on maintenance fees was that they are too low at the moment to be able to cover the daily maintenance costs. Our current occupancy fee already has a maintenance fee tied to it, just as an estimated property tax amount and the remainder is the interest...
Angry, calling owners "idiots", as you put it, will not improve matters.
We've had all of our 30-day deficiencies attended to within the time frame that Tarion says the builder has. The items were not major defects; mostly cosmetic. One item had to be redone twice; but was eventually fixed...
Great points by Bloom & Koff.
I agree that the change rooms are pointless, since the saunas were not installed. But there are times when you might want to wash your hands because you may have touched sweat soaked gym equipment, and there's no soap or paper towels available.
That wasnt' cool...
The change rooms in the exercise facility had NO soap, paper towels or toilet paper. That's unacceptable. If that's the way they want to maintain things, then it's disappointing. I hope this was just a short term oversight.
I'm in total agreement.
By purchasing content insurance, you can include coverage from damage through no fault of your own that is not building related. For instance, the suite above you can have a water leak, causing damage to your own suite. Also, my insurer mentioned that coverage is...
Hi all,
I just received an email reply from Alexandra after I inquired about when the recreation amenities were going to be completed. She'd spoken to Norstar and they let her know that the exercise room and Wilshire club should be completed and available for use this week.
On another note...
