I like the look of the silos, I’m sure the new buildings will block them but it gives a nice industrial feel in the Junction and a tie back to the rail yards.

Does anyone know what is going in the old Hasty Market? They have building permits for a restaurant and somebody is spending allot of money fixing it up.

Getting a slice of the Jane LRT would certainly change the Junction. Most Dundas West proposals however would only have a stop at the Annette/Dupont/Dundas intersection. Interesting thought to run down Jane to St.Clair/Dundas Street and turn left, follow the tracks through the Junction...

I would like to get thoughts on a regional rail station at Dundas West station? We already have GO, someday a DRL, railpath, Blue 22 and lots of land to build. Even with the existing conditions a Jane LRT termination at Dundas West would connect to the Junction, King Street, Dundas Street...

A south connection at Dundas West would make more sense and hopefully connect to the DRL. Running down the tacks through Weston would cover allot more people although it’s going to have a fight for space with Blue 22 and GO.

UD, I live just south of Dundas and I cant hear the trains at all during the day. When things get quiet at night and the wind in blowing south I can barely hear them but not enough to keep me up. The shunting on the other hand can be a bit loud at times. Benny, construction hasn’t started...

JP, I didn’t notice anybody smoking during the meeting but when it was over people waiting in the bar came out and started. The Foundation sounds great, I hope it’s as good as the one in Vancouver.
