Their campaign is a bit confusing, they make it out like all patients are cared for in the 1950's (university and Gerrard wings). But most patient care is actually in the Atrium and Elm wings. And those areas are now just offices and clinics, I will miss the old buildings as i had lots of visits...

Agreed, from what i last remember a large chunk of the Roy C Hill wing and University wing are empty (upper floor) with the exception of a few that are fully or just partly used. And over recent years it got more empty as some units renovated and moved to the Elm wing. I would hate to see the...

As for the space in Sick kids i reckon it will be used to build new and expand current areas of the hospital, i also wonder what plans the hospital has for the University Wing. Can not wait to see the inside of the Research tower, looking great from the outside.

Update on that fire that broke out on the construction site. http://www.sickkids.ca/VisitingSickKids/whats-new/update-incident-Research-and-Learning-tower.html Thankfully it did not have a major impact on the work.

My 3 most favroutie building interiors in toronto would have to be. Scotia Plaza First Canadian Place Sick Kids Hospital atirum But out of all 3 i have always loved how the interior of SIck kdis hospial looks expecially the atirum.

What is the inside of it like, i stayed in it when i was really young cause i had to have surgery but i do not really remeber what it was like inside. Ive heard some say Mount Sanai is pretty ugly but i do not really think its that bad compared to the nightmare just a block or so away.

From today, i wish i had taken it a little later in the day. Also walking through the lobby a lot of stuff is blocked off with construction barriers.

From today Also i overheard on the Sick kids news site a few weeks ago, they closed the road for a delivery of a MRI magnet. Did anybody catch pics of that at all?

They will not rip it down all at once, first Elm has the hospitals heliport and a large part of the heart centre. I believe that once the building is done Roy C Hill and University will be torn down, a new expansion will be bult and then Elm will be torn down once its heliport and stuff is...

Looks like a amazing building for one of the best hospitals in Canada. And connect it Sick Kids underground tunnel on floor B, easy access to the entire building from there.
