    East York-Old East York

Live near it, and have gone often. Honestly, I find the broth a bit lacking depth (and kind of sweet?), but it's close and I enjoy it. The vermicelli is also on point. I'll also second the Ritz sentiment. Have only been there twice but a great spot. They do both traditional Canadian breakfast...

    TTC: New Fare Gate Installation

Went through Donlands today and the gates are covered, but turned on those fancy bright green arrows. Looks like it's close!

    TTC: New Fare Gate Installation

Donlands is under wraps and looks like construction has begun on the Presto gates there.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

Am wondering if someone can explain the process the city takes on this. For 2016, we have a fairly substantial list of bike lane improvements, new lanes to be added, and road repairs. I know bike lanes go way on the bottom of the priority list in Toronto, but it's nearing mid-July and perhaps...

    East Danforth

Can anyone recommend good lunch spots that would not be disturbed by a stroller being inside the building? We like The Wren but it's very small, so I would not want to attempt to bring our stroller in there (Our little guy is too young for a high chair)

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Is this on-topic? Kind of? I think I just spotted a Toronto Streetcar (well, same model at least) in this photo from the City of Gdańsk Twitter account. Neat! http://twitter.com/gdansk/status/711171988014891009/photo/1

    East Danforth

I just moved to East Danforth and have been really enjoying walking around the strip, seeing what's being re-developed, this thread just made me all that more excited! I'm actually curious about the pub-looking development at the corner of Dewhurst/Danforth, across from the TD. It's been under...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

@drewds Regarding Daily Cap, I queried Brad today and he said it "will be" $12. So, don't think it's implemented yet but coming soon.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Hopped on the back of the King streetcar last night, tapped Presto. No more fiddling for tokens. So very pleased!

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

What's the timeline for Presto on buses? Cycling season is almost over and by-god it would be rad to not schlup around with a pile of tokens.

    Best commute Toronto to Kitchener

I can't wait for improved Kitchener service. Right now, my journey to KW looks like this on weekends. Get on Subway at Keele to Islington Take MiWay 109 to Square One Take the Waterloo Go Bus All in all, a solid 3 hour journey for what is just an hour drive.

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

Jumped on the UP last night after landing in Pearson. Because it was late and I was a little doozy from the flight I forgot to tap at the station. Figured there'd be a way to tap within the train. Ticketing agent came by and told me that wasn't the case, so I was requested to pay by credit card...

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Baby steps like this integration are how I see projects like RER and SmartTrack being built. Roll out of key prerequisites like this before any building begins.

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Rode this today for the first time from Islington to get to Square One. Took the 109 Took about 35 minutes. The Transitway itself is definitely a stub as that part of the journey was maybe 8 minutes max (no one boarded at any of the stations). The circling through Skymark area was a bit...
