Totem is unlike anything Toronto has ever seen. Dynamic, irreverent and bold, it reaches for the sky in a series of stacked boxes – contemporary cubist architecture executed to perfection. This isn’t just another generic glass tower, it’s a rich, thoughtful addition to the architectural texture of the city.
SHIFT YOUR PERSPECTIVE
A series of illuminated boxes, carefully stacked. Spaces shifted gently left and right, geometry that draws the eye skyward. A building that’s poised to be iconic, the shape of things to come. That’s Totem.
It’s city living that’s a shift from what’s come before. A place designed to meet the needs of urbanites looking for their own little slice of downtown. It’s not about fitting your life to a cookie cutter shape, Totem is about living your life in the perfect location that’s designed to fit you to a T.
THE CUBE
Jutting boldly over the street, this dark, dramatic shape draws the eye and engages the senses. Bold stone cladding that provides a rich textural counterpoint to the sleek glass and steel of the rest of the building.
ICONIC
Totem’s architecture is a nod to Manhattan’s award-winning New Museum, a showcase for contemporary art, and an icon of urban modernism. Totem combines elegance and urbanism, movement and modern lines, creating a dynamic structure that brings a fresh presence to a quaint downtown street, lined with Victorian homes, Dundonald.
A NEW ANGLE
Bold blue “fins” add interest and dimension to the south elevation of the building, reflecting light in unique ways, creating angled sightlines from the inside and exciting visuals from the street.
CHIC IT UP
On the second level, you’ll find a stylish space with a beautiful bar and lounge, private dining room and comfortable conversation areas. It’s the perfect place to host a party, gather with friends, or just curl up with a book on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The space opens up onto a large outdoor terrace with sophisticated urban landscaping, more seating and heavy-duty gas barbecues ideal for summer entertaining.
SCULPT YOUR BODY
Kick it with cardio or work on that sleek six-pack in Totem’s well-equipped fitness space. Larger than most condo gyms, it features free weights, stationary bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers, yoga and Pilates equipment and more.
ROOFTOP OASIS
Head to the top floor for an incredible outdoor experience with killer views. This sophisticated rooftop space has a dining area, loungers for relaxation, comfortable seating and a barbecue for convenience. Relax, share a quiet drink overlooking the lights of the city, host a dinner party under the stars – or throw a bash that will have your friends talking for months.
