S9 Architecture

S9 Architecture

S9 Architecture was founded in October 2011 by Perkins Eastman, John Clifford, and Navid Maqami. S9 was established as a Perkins Eastman affiliate company that operates as a studio within Perkins Eastman’s New York office. S9’s focus is on the planning and design of large-scale, mixed-use developments that include sizable urban residential and commercial components. S9 works across the US and Canada, often jointly with other Perkins Eastman studios and offices.

S9’s leadership and staff give form to our clients’ development programs with unique design approach rooted in modern contextualism and inspired by urban narratives. S9 also brings a unique understanding of the market and operational issues that results in successful urban development.

The leaders of S9, John Clifford and Navid Maqami, direct S9’s staff of more than 70 professionals while participating in the leadership of Perkins Eastman.
